Thank you, Darcy, this list is terrific! I am prepared in some areas, and woefully unprepared in others -- especially having copies of legal documents on hand! Here are a few items I would add to FEMA's list: have at least a two-week supply of pet food on hand. Many pets escape during natural emergencies, so it is good to have current, clear photos of your pets, just in case. It is also important to have current photos of everyone who lives in the house!
